For applications with low pressure, coaxial couplings are used to perform special functions. Coaxial couplings are mono couplings carrying media in a coaxial way (pipe in pipe). Furthermore, there are coaxial mono couplings carrying fluidic media and simultaneously high-frequency low voltage electricity (e. g. for spot welding guns, transfer or welding power as well as cooling water) or additionally transmitting signal currents.

The electric plug inside (7- or 12-way) is accessed by pressurized air or protecting gas and thus, protected against overheating.
