2. Information about the Collection of Personal Data

When you contact us using our contact forms or by direct e-mail, the information you provide (such as your first and last name, company name, e-mail address and the content of your message) is transferred to and stored by us. This data is processed only as necessary in order to answer your questions or handle your matter. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Article 6(1) Sentence 1 f of the GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in handling the matter arising from the contact and answering your questions. Contact is made on an expressly voluntary basis. Failure to provide the data has no consequences for you. We will store your personal data only as long as necessary for the intended purpose or in order to comply with statutory recordkeeping periods. We use outside service providers on the basis of Article 28 of the GDPR in order to support internal administrative and IT processes, e.g. for hosting, administration and maintenance of our IT systems. These service providers are carefully selected and engaged by us, are bound by our instructions and are routinely supervised. In addition, the transmitted information may be forwarded to the responsible offices and departments within our company in order to ensure that your matter is handled in an effective manner.

3. Cookies

“Cookies” are used on our website in isolated cases. Cookies are small text files which are placed on your computer and stored by your browser, provided the storage of cookies is activated in your browser. Cookies cannot be matched directly to specific people and do not contain personal data. Cookies cause no harm to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies are divided into two categories: “transient” and “persistent” cookies, which we will explain below. Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser. This category particularly includes session cookies. These cookies store a so-called “session ID,” which allows different queries from your browser to be matched to a single session. As a result, your computer will be recognized if you return to our website. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser. Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may differ depending on the cookie. You can delete the cookies at any time by changing your browser’s security settings. The legal basis for the processing of cookies and the associated personal data is Article 6(1) Sentence 1 f of the GDPR (legitimate interest). This processing serves our legitimate interest in making our offerings more effective, more user-friendly and more secure. You can configure your browser settings any way you wish; for example, you can refuse to accept cookies, in whole or in part, if you do not want cookies to be stored on your computer. Cookies which are already stored on your computer can be deleted by changing your browser’s system settings. However, you should be aware that you may not be able to use all of the functions of this website if cookies are deactivated or deleted.

4. Use of Google Analytics

We use the collected data in order to analyze use of our website. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Article 6(1) Sentence 1 f of the GDPR (legitimate interest). The information we obtain allows us to improve our offerings and structure them in a way which is more attractive for you, our users.

For this purpose, this website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies,” text files which are stored in your computer and which allow us to analyze your use of the website. The information about your use of the website which is generated through the cookie is typically transferred to a Google server in the US and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will first be anonymized within member states of the European Union or other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and anonymized there. Google will use this information at the behest of the operator of this website in order to analyze your use of the website, compile website activity reports and provide additional services associated with website and internet use for the website operator. For the exceptional cases in which personal data is transmitted to the US, Google has subjected itself to the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

You can prevent the storage of Cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software; you should be aware, however, that in this case, you may be unable to use all functions of this website without restriction. You may also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the Cookie relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in which is available through the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de)

IP anonymization: The code “gaTracker(’set‘, ‚anonymizeIp‘, true)” was added to Google Analytics on this website in order to implement the anonymized collection of IP addresses (“IP masking”). You can prevent the collection of data by Google Analytics by clicking the following link. This will place an opt-out cookie which will prevent your data from being collected during future visits to this website: Google Analytics deaktivieren.

5. Google Maps

We use the “Google Maps” component, from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”), on our site as a service to our users. The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)f of the GDPR. The legitimate interests particularly include provision of the service for our users and the associated ability to provide information to our passengers and their friends and family members.

Every time the “Google Maps” component is used, Google will place a cookie in order to process user settings and data when the site on which the “Google Maps” component is integrated is displayed. This cookie is typically not deleted when the browser is closed, but expires after a certain amount of time, unless you manually delete it beforehand.

If you do not consent to this processing of tour data, you have the option of deactivating the “Google Maps” service, which would prevent the transmission of data to Google. To do so, you will have to deactivate the Java Script function in your browser. You should be aware, however, that if you do so, you will be unable to use “Google Maps,” or will be able to do so to only a limited extent.

If you are in contact with us as a business customer, these are recorded in our CRM system. We process the data for as long as it serves the purpose. Data processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 sent. 1a GDPR. Your data will not be passed on to third parties.

7. Your rights
You have the right to obtain information relating to the processing of personal data concerning you and the information specified in Art. 15 GDPR.
