series DD
Clean break coupling for high pressure and high temperature up to 350 bar and 250 °C – (NW 6, 9, 12, 16)
The DD series clean break couplings (dry couplings) are designed for demanding high-pressure and high-temperature applications and are used in particular in the chemical industry and in plant engineering for the safe handling of corrosive liquids and gases.
They provide a reliable, leak-free connection at pressures of up to 350 bar and temperatures of up to 250 °C, making them ideal for processes involving both high mechanical and thermal stresses.
In high-pressure applications, a safe and controlled connection is crucial. Clean-break couplings such as the DD series prevent media leakage and enable controlled coupling and uncoupling even under demanding process conditions. This enhances process safety and minimises the risk of contamination or product loss.
As a high-pressure clean-break coupling system, they are used in particular where aggressive or critical media need to be conveyed reliably under high pressures and temperatures. Typical areas of application include chemical processes, energy-intensive applications and industrial plants with high safety and leak-tightness requirements.
Thanks to their dry coupling technology (Dry Disconnect / Dry Break Coupling), they ensure virtually leak-free disconnection whilst preventing air from entering the system.
