Low-pressure clean-break quick-connect coupling system for direct installation in the customer’s own systems, for the conveyance of liquid media in industrial and commercial environments, particularly for water-based emulsions, such as coolant containing glycol.

Advantages of Clean-Break technology: Minimal residual leakage during disconnection thanks to Clean-Break (Drybreak) valves that close drip-free and therefore dry on both sides. During connection, the ingress of ambient air into the pipework system is effectively prevented.

Applications include, amongst others, the automated connection of power modules to cooling circuits, for example in the field of railway technology; for use in data centres as rack-mountable cooling elements; or as components for imaging technologies in medical technology.

Special Features / Options:

Suitable as a built-in and fail-safe component for applications where there is no direct visual inspection of the coupling status or the coupling process (blind mating).

Installation can be carried out on the nipple side using a mounting sleeve for automatic self-centring, or without a mounting sleeve (in which case the permissible angular and centre deviations are limited).
